I find that it's often the stuff I was scared of back then that I find most interesting as an adult.Kirk D.https://www.blogger.com/profile/05700097965524197825noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1022160829846105895.post-36082198993144050572009-06-04T15:00:27.324-05:002009-06-04T15:00:27.324-05:00Your personal experience with the "Phantaz&qu...Your personal experience with the "Phantaz" was fun to read! Especially, the parts about your fear as a child and how that stuck with you. It's so interesting how much more impressionable we are as kids than we are as adults, and how those impressions stay with us for the rest of our lives.Anthonyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08876509089526819429noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1022160829846105895.post-11049979573150907352008-03-05T23:12:00.000-06:002008-03-05T23:12:00.000-06:00Thanks for the info. The sound FX they were using before the ride closed was also a commercial Halloween album, though much more recent.Kirk D.https://www.blogger.com/profile/05700097965524197825noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1022160829846105895.post-8515641456697179492008-03-03T17:41:00.000-06:002008-03-03T17:41:00.000-06:00You mention "the soundtrack of spooky FX" for Phan...You mention "the soundtrack of spooky FX" for Phantasmagoria and from what I remember part of it was the same that was used for the Haunted Mansion in Disneyland. I visited Disneyland for my second time in 1974 (13 years old) and bought a couple of records there one of which was a 'spooky FX soundtrack' to play at our house on Halloween. When I got back to Tulsa I recognized it standing in line for the ride. I think there was more to it than just this but that's what I remember.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
